What We Offer
More Than a Patent License.
A Technology Partnership.
We do not hand you a document and walk away. We work with your engineering team from initial consultation through prototyping, product tuning, and market launch — staying engaged until your product reaches its full potential.
How We Work
Three Ways We Work With You
Option 1 — Technology License
For manufacturers who want to implement independently.
You receive a license to the ImpactTune patent covering spatially engineered impact-response structures across foam cores, honeycomb cores, and hybrid constructions. License includes full technical documentation, specification guidelines, and implementation parameters for your specific core material and manufacturing platform.
Best for: Established manufacturers with strong internal engineering teams who need the IP and specification framework but have the capability to implement independently.
What is included:
→ Patent license for defined product categories and territories
→ Full technical specification package
→ Implementation guidelines for your specific construction
→ One engineering consultation session
→ Ongoing access to ImpactTune technical team for questions
Option 2 — License with Implementation Support
For manufacturers who want hands-on guidance through development.
Everything in Option 1 plus active engagement from ImpactTune’s manufacturing liaison throughout your development process. Caryn works directly with your engineering team — attending key development milestones, reviewing prototypes, guiding tuning decisions, and ensuring the technology is implemented to its full potential before your product goes to market.
Best for: Manufacturers entering new territory — new core materials, new product categories, or first-time implementation of spatial response engineering.
What is included:
→ Everything in Option 1
→ Dedicated manufacturing liaison (Caryn) assigned to your project
→ Regular check-ins throughout development cycle
→ Prototype review and tuning guidance
→ Pre-launch performance validation
→ Market launch support
Option 3 — Co-Development Partnership
For manufacturers who want to build something new together.
A collaborative development relationship in which ImpactTune works as a true partner — participating in product concept development, target performance profile definition, material selection, gradient specification, and prototype iteration from the ground up. Structured as a joint development agreement with shared upside.
Best for: Forward-thinking manufacturers who want to own the next generation of their product category and are willing to invest in building it properly.
What is included:
→ Everything in Options 1 and 2
→ Joint product concept development
→ Target performance profile definition
→ Material selection and gradient specification
→ Full prototype iteration cycle
→ Shared development investment structure
→ Co-branded or white-label market positioning options
What to Expect
From First Call to Market Launch
Step 1 — Discovery Call No cost. No obligation. No pressure. Tell us about your product, your manufacturing platform, your target market, and your performance objectives. We will tell you honestly whether and how the technology applies. If it is not the right fit we will tell you that too. Nothing to lose. Time required: 30 minutes
Step 2 — Technical Assessment We review your current construction — core material, cell geometry, layer architecture, face construction — and identify the specific spatial engineering approach that best fits your product and manufacturing platform. We specify the implementation path: cell size gradient, wall thickness variation, gradient perforation, foam face layers, or hybrid construction. Time required: 1 to 2 weeks
Step 3 — Implementation Specification We produce a complete implementation specification document — gradient parameters, zone geometries, material specifications, and manufacturing process modifications — tailored to your specific equipment and capabilities. This is the document your engineering team uses to build the first prototype. Time required: 2 to 4 weeks
Step 4 — Prototype Development Your engineering team builds the first prototype to our specification. We review and provide tuning guidance. Iterate until the product performs to the target profile. Our manufacturing liaison is available throughout this process. Time required: Varies by product and manufacturing cycle
Step 5 — Validation and Launch Final performance validation against target profile and applicable regulatory standards. Market launch support including positioning guidance and technical marketing materials. Time required: Varies
Why ImpactTune
We Stay Until It Works
Most patent licensing arrangements are transactional. You sign, you pay, you get a document, you figure it out. The licensor moves on.
That is not how we work.
We have spent years developing not just the patent but the deep understanding of how the spatial gradient interacts with different core materials, manufacturing processes, and performance requirements. That knowledge does not live in the patent document — it lives in us. And we bring it to every engagement.
We do not consider an engagement successful until your product is on the market performing at the level the technology is capable of. That is what drives us and that is the standard we hold ourselves to.
Four points:
✓ Deep technical knowledge — not just the patent but the implementation expertise
✓ Manufacturing-friendly — we work with your existing platform, not against it
✓ Honest assessment — if it is not the right fit we will tell you at the discovery call
✓ Long-term relationship — we want your next product too, not just this one
