TWISTWEIGHT - What does it mean?

When a ball hits the paddle not in the center, but either left or right of center, it exerts a force that makes the paddle twist. A paddle with a higher twistweight resists this twisting more than one with a lower twistweight. So, in general, a higher twistweight is good. That being said, higher twistweight can make the paddle feel sluggish especially when associated with a higher swingweight and balancepoint. What to look for. For elongated paddles, a twistweight of 6.3 (minimum) is recommended. Most player prefer 6.5-6.8. For widebody paddles, 6.5 is a good minimum.
