Carry one clear cue into a warm-up, guided drill, ball-machine session, or practice with a partner.
Record what happened, schedule the next session, or find a coach when live feedback would help more.

Build a repeatable motion, a dependable second serve, better placement, and a plan for the first ball after the serve.
Improve preparation, contact, direction, and recovery so more returns start the point on your terms.
Work on spacing, contact, shape, depth, direction changes, and rally tolerance without changing everything at once.
Learn approach patterns, split-step timing, volley fundamentals, overhead positioning, and when to close the net.
Use clearer movement and recovery patterns for wide balls, short balls, defensive positions, and court coverage.
Choose higher-percentage targets, recognize common patterns, and make decisions that fit the way you actually play.
A useful example
This beginner-to-intermediate lesson builds margin, depth, and a repeatable recovery pattern instead of asking you to hit harder.
Rally cooperatively crosscourt. Aim comfortably above the net and recover toward the middle of your available court after every shot.
Score one point whenever your ball lands beyond the service line. Reset after a miss and try to beat your best streak.
After four crosscourt balls, either player may change direction. Play the point and note whether the miss came from spacing, height, or recovery.
